- Switch off the power
to your ADSL broadband
modem or router. Most
ADSL routers are mains
powered but many ADSL
modems are USB powered
so will need to be disconnected
from your computer to
power them down.
- Leave the ADSL modem
or router off for 30 seconds
then reconnect.
This helps ensure your ADSL
modem or router reconnects
to the local telephone exchange
correctly and will solve
the majority of connection
issues.
If this does not
solve your problem please
go to Step
2.

do this frequently (perhaps
more than once or twice
per month) please contact
us and we can get further
tests run on your line.
