If you
hear buzzing on our telephone
line when using your broadband
connection - the most likely
cause is incorrect use of
ADSL splitters / microfilters.
It is important that:
- An ADSL splitter is
the first device plugged
into the BT telephone
socket and that the other
normal telephone devices
are then plugged into
that.
- That an ADSL splitter
is connected to 'every'
BT telephone socket on
the line broadband is
enabled on - not just
the one you connect your
broadband modem or router
into!
Another possibility (although
much less likely) is that
your ADSL splitter / microfilter
may be faulty?
