Satellite broadband is an option for providing access to areas that are not on a BT ADSL enabled exchange or where the distance from the exchange is too great.

At the moment the market is rather in turmoil between various '1-way' and '2-way' satellite solutions - each has its own technological and cost implications.

Currently we are looking at both of these solutions to find both a realistically priced and reliable platform (a satellite network is notoriously expensive to setup so we want to pick a provider that will be here medium-long term!).
